Don’t just “be” … KICK ASS

From Good to Great: Cultivate Strengths and Team Collaboration to Create a Culture of Engagement, Purpose, and Results

CULTIVATE ENGAGEMENT

EMBRACE & LEAD CHANGE

OPTIMIZE YOUR ORGANIZATION

Do you encounter these challenges?

It’s been said that the “only constant is change.” Why does it have to be so HARD?

  • Your leaders struggle to keep up with or drive change.

  • You need to pivot to seize an opportunity – or to survive – and your leaders respond haphazardly to the challenge.  Some step up and deliver; some step up and can’t deliver; some hide under a rock.

  • You fear your organization can’t scale to the next level.  You’re terrified to ask “just one more thing” of your team, yet you know your systems, process, and possibly your entire organization needs a refresh.

  • Glassdoor reviews from employees are just plain wicked. As a result, attracting and retaining top talent in the industry is becoming difficult.

  • There’s so much to do, and it must be done now.  Your employees are experiencing stress, and engagement is fast approaching rock bottom.

  • Your teams are stressed due to conflicting priorities and breakdowns in communication.

  • Your leadership is preoccupied with addressing urgent issues, and they're unable to concentrate on executing strategic objectives.  And worse, they are pointing fingers at each other with every failure.

  • You're worried about the difference between your current leadership team’s abilities, their potential, and what’s needed for future success.  You’re unsure how to get them to the next level – or even if everyone can.

  • You have applied so many quick fixes and band-aids over the years that one more straw will fracture your organization and impact your reputation for results.

Liz is passionate about organizational transformation

Oh man, do I know the feeling of waking up with the “Monday Morning Scaries”!

It's one thing when you're part of a team that's really firing on all cylinders. You're in sync and working towards a common goal, and it feels amazing to be a part of something like that. But when that sense of teamwork flounders or is lost completely, it's hard to regain focus and stay motivated. When you lead teams or organizations – especially when you’re leading through change -  you feel like you can’t afford to lose any traction here.  If you’re like me, you put a lot of pressure on yourself to “stay in the game!”.  For me, that creates the “Monday Morning Scaries”.

But here's the thing: as an organizational development leader, I know that change is inevitable. Organizations must evolve. As a leader, no matter what level, you know it, too.  And I also know that it can be really, really hard for companies to navigate that period of moving from disruption to organization, from chaos to charisma. That's where change management, and trust, comes in.

Organizational transformation has many, many moving parts. Some move flawlessly – and some require the skill and equipment of an Air Force Red Horse squadron with the ability to move mountains. I've worked with companies that struggled to adapt to new technologies or navigate mergers, and I’ve worked with leaders who were invested, intentional, realistic, and thoughtful about growing their organizations. Change is complex, but it doesn’t always have to be painful.

I know that it’s essential to build trust during change.  You want your collaborators to be invested in success as much as you are and to create an environment where there is trust, partnership, co-creation, listening, systems-thinking, and innovation. Partners truly “come alongside” you, walking step by step with you to ensure you reach your goals.  That’s the partnership I build.

AMPLIFY Your Team Performance

We know you desire an agile, engaged team that aligns business activities and performance to drive growth and revenue. Your team has the skills and motivation to get there, but lacks synergy, energy, or both. The urgent has become commonplace and takes you away from the important, which is exhausting, consumes many resources, and affects the culture and productivity, and wellbeing of everyone on the team.

Here’s what you’ll achieve:

  • Align operational frameworks to your strategy, culture, and business.

  • Maximize individual and team success through coaching and development.

  • Position your organization to respond to, or better yet, lead competitive opportunities through strategic workforce planning.

  • Lead employee engagement and have better business results.

  • Integrate agile, responsive systems and structures that support your strategic goals.

  • Free your organization of friction so it works together like a well-oiled machine.

  • Y? Because it’s the smart (and right) thing to do!

INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM COACHING

ENGAGEMENT

You’ve heard of “Raise the roof!”.  I challenge you to “Raise the results!” within your organization through engagement.

Gallup, long known for their employee engagement research, identifies many positive business outcomes related to strong engagement.  Even better is the magical combination of Gallup’s engagement philosophies supported by CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinders).

Let’s talk about how you can educate, empower and enlist your folks to do their best work for you and your organization through Strengths and engagement!

ALIGNMENT

You wouldn’t neglect aligning the wheels on your vehicle, would you?  Why?  Because you know that this misalignment adversely impacts your driving experience.  Not to mention poor alignment results in uneven tire wear, negatively impacts braking, engine and drive train performance.  Poor performance costs money in the long term.

So why put off aligning systems, processes, people and structures within your business?

Raving Results

We are thrilled to share the amazing success stories of our former and current clients. These rockstars have taken their organizations to the next level by transforming them from the inside out.

In my nearly 30-year career journey, I have been graced with working alongside and leading memorable, smart, change-making individuals. Liz Killen is one such individual. Over the four years I worked with Liz, she taught me, and the organization, a great deal about measuring and responding to employee engagement, integrating talent management processes to enhance capability-focused development, using strengths to build teams, and how to think strategically about workforce planning. Liz has a brilliant mind when it comes to assessing gaps to an organizational design and applying thoughtful shifts to improve performance through redesign.

Liz is intelligent, strategic, and creative. She exemplifies what it means to be a business partner and advisor.

Mollie Bell

Chief Development Officer, Ent Credit Union

Liz has been an incredible asset to have on our team. Her ability to bring multiple personalities and business strategies together has been second to none. It has been refreshing to have a strategic thinker like Liz who can source information and data from the entire workforce then present a clear business strategy for the company to move forward with. Liz has an innate ability to understand risks and opportunities that will give the business the most successful chance of a positive outcome. Her ability to work with multiple personalities in the workplace is refreshing and has directly influenced our ability to communicate differing opinions. We have continued to build on this “multifaceted” approach that Liz taught us. Her mentorship is still producing positive results and has led to a more inclusive and “dynamic” workplace.

Ken Patrick

Program Manager, Doss Aviation

Liz ensured we managed our employee talent in the most effective and efficient way possible. Whether it be placing people in the right job, organizing for more efficiency with the people we had or growing our skill sets internally she always provided excellent advice and judgment.

Jim Prickett

Vice President, Harris IT Services

Liz rapidly facilitated transformation within our leadership team and committees.  Liz was able to help us identify our organization’s strategic corporate objectives and provided us an easy to follow process on how to go about formulating and reaching our goals.  Not only did each committee come up with a focused plan of action, but each has remained accountable for their plans, resulting in increased membership and membership retention, better PR, increased attendance at meetings, increased member involvement, and more focused advocacy projects.  One of our board members commented that it was obvious we were working with someone who really knows her profession.   Her approach of questioning and researching was non-threatening and insightful for our team and she was helpful, respectful and easy to work with.   I highly recommend Liz to any organization needing facilitation help.
